Sport Resource Group was recently mentioned in a New York Times article discussing the rise of gaga pits at summer camps! The article includes a brief history of the game, the story of how it became so popular in the United States, and some gaga rules of play. The article also describes several options for constructing gaga pits, from putting “upended picnic tables” together to assembling our ProWall Gaga Pits.

“Chris Guertin, president of Sport Resource, said his gaga business was booming. In 2007, his first year making gaga pits, Mr. Guertin sold eight of them. Now he sells two to four gaga pits a week, which helped overall business grow 65 percent from 2010 to 2011, Mr. Guertin said. He expects to see an additional 25 percent rise this year.”
